Playstyle & Rules

  1.  All sims are played in rotation.  No sim is left in the Sim Bin; all must be placed somewhere, with the day and season adjusted to sync up with the rest of the households.
  2. Rotations last for one day.  Each family is played in a specific order until all are played, and then it repeats to the next rotation.
  3. Sims are played according to wants primarily, and partly for my personal wishes.  I want to make my sims happy by fulfilling their rolled wants, avoiding their rolled fears, and working toward their lifetime want.  But sometimes, I need a break from the monotony, and so I deviate - I make drama, I take them to a community lot, they might make a friend, or try a new hobby, or do something they may normally not do.  Other times, I roll a RoS.
  4. When created in CAS, sims are given a basic story arc (usually a connection to a family member), a role in the community, a random age (which is then edited in SimPE), and random personality.  An educational and employment background may be assigned to them, if they are old enough and/or need it.
  5. When a sim ages into an adult, they should move out on their own as soon as possible.  This might mean moving to the Flop House until they can afford their own apartment.
  6. Houses are reserved for couples who are married or Sims who have children.  A mortgage is generally required to own a house, but not always.
  7. Health, Personality and RoS rolls are done whenever a Sim ages up into a new age group.
